FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The Department of Epidemiology works with our doctoral students to help them financially via a combination of funding sources including living expense stipends, fellowships, grants, teaching assistantships and research assistantships.  After the faculty make a decision to admit, the department will include information in your admission letter detailing any financial support that is offered you by the Department of Epidemiology.

In addition, since housing cost in Southern California can be expensive, you will be offered on-campus housing at below market rental rates. The graduate student and family housing are apartments located close to campus and kept seperate from undergraduate dormatories and apartments. Many of the housing units host year long events for graduate students and their families, that are not available at off-campus housing.
