| It is clear that a number of relatively common infections (EBV, HBV, HCV, HPV, HTLV-I, H. pylori) play a role in the development of a diverse set of malignancies. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the epidemiology of these virus-malignancy systems, review their common elements, emphasize the importance of host response, and discuss what research remains and what preventive strategies should be considered. |
