Summer support and faculty guidance are available for a limited number of graduate and/or medical students proposing a summer research project related to cancer. These fellowships are competitive, and therefore enhance any resume. You will learn a lot, but you must work hard, and present your work at a formal seminar to faculty, sponsors, and the general public. These fellowships are jointly sponsored by the Epidemiology Division, The American Cancer Society, and Corporate Organizations.
