MS DEGREE PROGRAM

APPLYING TO EPIDEMIOLOGY

The Department of Epidemiology is currently accepting applications for a course of study leading to the Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Epidemiology for the academic year beginning in September of 2013.  Applicants should apply online no later than noon PST on January 15, 2013.  When completing your online application for graduate admission, you will be asked to complete a section regarding “Degree Program” information.  Please follow the exact directions below to insure a successful application to the Epidemiology program:

School/Department:	Choose  “School of Medicine” from the drop down menu
Major/Degree:	Choose  “Epidemiology M.S.”  from the drop down menu
Year and Quarter:	Type in  “2013” and mark “Fall”
Specific Area of Interest:	As examples only, you may type in Cancer Epi, Environmental Epi , Biostatistics, Genetic Epi, etc.  Also, please specify UC Irvine faculty researcher(s) you've identified as having a similar research interest as you do.

Please read the helpful information provided to assure your completion of a competitive and successful application. Our Epi MS Application FAQ will be useful, too. The remaining parts of the electronic application should be self-explanatory.  However, should you have questions you can contact us at EpiGrad@uci.edu.  Your academic transcripts and paper letters of recommendation that are not submitted via UC Irvine’s online system should be mailed to the following address:
