PHD DEGREE PROGRAM

APPLYING TO EPIDEMIOLOGY

The Department of Epidemiology is currently still accepting applications for study leading to the Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology.  Applicants should apply online no later than noon PST on January 15, 2013.  The department enrolls new graduate students only for Fall Quarter of each Academic Year.   When completing your online application for graduate admissions, you will be asked to complete a section regarding “Degree Program” information.  Please follow the exact directions below to insure a successful application to the Epidemiology Ph.D. program:

School/Department:	Choose  “School of Medicine” from the drop down menu
Major/Degree:	Choose  “Epidemiology Ph.D.”  from the drop down menu
Year and Quarter:	Type in  “2013” and mark “Fall”
Specific Area of Interest:	As examples only, you may type in Cancer Epi, Environmental Epi, Biostatistics or Genetic Epi, etc.  Also, please specify UC Irvine faculty researcher(s) who have similar research interest as you do, if applicable
